Time Based Fares
1 Hour, 4 Hour and 23 Hour tickets
For infrequent or new users, tickets can be purchased from the driver. Customers can work out what trips you plan to make and select from a range of tickets available.
1 hour ticket
Valid for one or more trips occurring within the hour of purchase. It's good for a quick run to the shops, pay bills at the post office or to pick up a child from school.
4 hour ticket
Valid for multiple trips occurring within the four hours of purchase. It is ideal for a full shopping trip, to go to the movies, a half day out with friends, an appointment or to attend a church service.
23 hour (all day) tickets
Good for a full day out to the shopping centre or to visit friends and relatives. This ticket is perfectly suited to visitors planning a day of sightseeing in Newcastle and it is also valid for use on Newcastle Ferry services.
TimeTen multi ride tickets
TimeTen tickets combine ten 1-hour tickets at a discounted rate. With the first use of each hour, the ticket machine will print the details of the start of each trip on the back of the ticket. Further boarding during the hour will be accepted without printing. Unused time in the hour is not transferred and the ticket cannot be used for another person's fare.
If you board a service after the one-hour period has expired, the ticket will automatically select the next valid one-hour period of your TimeTen ticket.
Please take care of your ticket. If the machine fails to validate your ticket because it is damaged, you will be asked to purchase cash fare for your journey.
If you board a service after the one-hour period has expired, the ticket will automatically select the next valid one-hour period of your TimeTen ticket.

- Valid until all ten '1 hour' trips are used.
Ferry Tickets
