International Fleet Review.
From 3-11 October, Sydney Harbour will be transformed when more than 40 warships and 16 tall ships from around Australia and the world, drop anchor for the International Fleet Review 2013, celebrating 100 years since the first Royal Australian Navy ships arrived in Sydney.
Sydney Buses services will operate to a normal weekday/weekend timetable and on particular days extra services will operate on major bus routes to get you to and from the International Fleet Review celebrations.
On Saturday 5 October, Sydney Buses services will be operating to a Saturday timetable. However, due to Sydney CBD and North Sydney road closures, temporary bus terminals and diversions are in place from 9am until 11pm, unless otherwise stated.
Also on Saturday 5 Oct only, Sydney Buses will be selling an International Fleet review return ticket on board all buses including Pre-Pay only services and Metrobus services. Ticket price is $6 for adults and $3 concession. This ticket will allow unlimited travel on all Sydney Buses’ services from 4am, Saturday 5 October to 5am, Sunday 6 October. However this ticket is not available to purchase onboard T way services.
On Wednesday, 9 October there will be Sydney’s CBD bus arrangements in place and diversions from 9.30am to 3pm due to the International Fleet Naval parade. You can use your Sydney Buses ticket on Sydney Trains in the area bounded by the City Circle including Martin Place stations.
