Term Bus Pass

image of school kids boarding the busState Transit can provide a School Term Bus Pass for school students deemed ineligible for subsidised travel through the School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS).

Term Bus Passes costs $46.30 (incl. GST) per school term. They may be purchased term by term, or for all four terms.

A Term Bus Pass is valid for travel between the registered home address and the school on school days only, via the most direct means. See Important information about using your pass.

How to Apply

Print out the Term Pass application form or obtain from the school. Completed applications must be accompanied with payment using a cheque, money order or credit card, and sent to:

Allow a minimum of ten working days for processing.

Travel using mixed modes of transport

A Term Bus Pass is only valid on State Transit buses between school and home. If a school student needs to travel by train, ferry or private bus they will need to contact the transport operator to enquire about passes.
