    ANZAC Day 2017 – Tuesday 25 April 2017.

    Newcastle Buses and Ferries are operating to a Sunday timetable.

    Additional services will operate along major corridors for customers attending the Dawn Service and Anzac Day March. All additional bus service information will be uploaded on the trip planner.

    Scott Street and Hunter Street will be closed between Perkins Street and Darby Street from 09.00 for the duration of the ANZAC March.

    Due to road closures, some buses will be diverted and may be delayed around the route of the ANZAC Day March. Please allow extra travel time when planning your trip as delays may be experienced while diversions are in place.

    FREE Travel is available for Anzac Day participants wearing uniforms displaying medals or carrying an authority letter from the RSL on Sydney Trains, Sydney Buses and Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan bus services, Newcastle Buses, Sydney Ferries and Newcastle Ferries on the day.

    Stockton Ferry Shuttle for Dawn Ceremony

    A Ferry shuttle service will operate between Stockton Wharf and Queens Wharf for the ANZAC Day Dawn Ceremony. This shuttle service will commence from Stockton Wharf at approximately 03:50.

    Anzac Day March Diversions

    The following diversions will be in place from 09:00 through to approximately 10:00.

    Route diversions include the 110 Rail Shuttle Service.

    During the diversions a number of bus stops will be affected. The affected stops are 230041, 230035, 230017, 20033, 230016, 230047, 230034, 230026, 230090, and 230069.

    Routes 110, 100, 104, 222, 224, 225, 226, 230, 231, 235, 317, 320, 322, 334, 349 and 350

    Services from City: From Scott Street, then Bolton Street, King Street, Watt Street, Wharf Road, Merewether Street, Hunter Street, then continues as normal.

    Services to City: From Hunter Street, then Merewether Street, Wharf Road, Watt Street, then sets down and terminates in Scott Street.

    104 and 222 services will still operate via Newcastle East.

    Routes 310 and 320

    Services to City: From Darby Street, then Tyrell Street, Wolfe Street, Church Street, Watt Street and Scott Street.

    Services from City: From Scott Street, then Bolton Street, Church Street, Wolfe Street, Tyrell Street and Darby Street.

    Route 201

    Services to City: From Scott Street, then Bolton Street, King Street, Watt Street, Wharf Road, Merewether Street, Hunter Street then continues as normal.

    Services from City: From Hunter Street, then Merewether Street, Wharf Road, Watt Street, Scott Street, Bolton Street then continues as normal.

    Routes 106 and 107

    Services to City: From Honeysuckle Drive services will continue to Work Shop Way, then through Wharf Road, and Scott Street.

    Services from City: From Scott Street, then Bolton Street, King Street, Watt Street, Wharf Road, Work Shop Way then continues as normal.
